Thornapple Fire Station serves the community with their emergency response facility. The fire station is a 14,000 sq.ft. building along the Thornapple River which can support up to 6 emergency response vehicles. Appropiate storm water and erosion control techniques were used to prevent pollution of the Thornapple River flood plain.
