Difficult existing land terrain and wetland areas
required unique design solution |

Adjacent residential neighborhood needed special
attention
|
 |
 |
Provide both employees and clients with quality
spaces filled with natural light, efficient layouts and ease of
access to both management and resources |
|
|
| 1. Reception Area: |
 |
Clients are welcomed by a spacious lobby and generous
view to the exterior provided by sloped sky light glazing along
the entire south interior wall. |
| 2. Conference Room: |
| |
Located directly adjacent to lobby for client convenience
and within view of front receptionist control area for prompt
assistance if required |
| 3. Workroom Area: |
| |
Located in the center of the office space, the workroom
was positioned to be easily accessible to entire secretarial,
drafting and management staff |
| 4. Support Areas: |
| |
Office support spaces such as storage, toilets,
reference library and break room were also located to be as close
proximity as possible to the entire staff for added comfort and
convenience. |
| 5. Studio Space: |
| |
The premium quality areas within the office were uniquely
laid out to benefit the staff rather then the commonly seen layouts
that offer the best spaces to the higher management positions.
Employee retainment and recruitment opportunities have benefited
due to this design decision. |
| 6. Management Offices: |
| |
The clear separation of the management offices from
one another and the relative close proximity of these offices
to the studio areas was a conscious decision to influence more
interaction between management and staff, increasing both company
morale and office efficiency. |
