The challenge presented was to take one of Meijer’s long standing legacy stores and completely transform it to better meet their patron’s needs and consumer demands. With a challenge of keeping the store open and operational during this process. This included providing a significant Sales Area expansion, a new Garden Center, an entire redesign of the front exterior

facade, and completely new interior finish and signage package, as well as departmental relocation, reset and expansion of the General Merchandise, Grocery Sales, Deli and Bakery throughout the store. Several technical issues were addressed with providing new refrigeration and mechanical systems as needed along with all new lighting fixtures and electronic upgrades.
